Sibal S. Holt 

Sibal Holt recently retired as the President of the Louisiana AFL-CIO. Prior to this position, Ms. Holt served as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Louisiana AFL-CIO and as the Assistant to the President of the Louisiana AFL-CIO. For over three decades, Ms. Holt has been a Registered Labor Lobbyist representing the Louisiana AFL-CIO. Prior to her tenure with the AFL-CIO, Ms. Holt served as an Operator, an Accounting Clerk and a Sales Representative for South Central Bell.

Honoring her strong commitment to community service, Ms. Holt has served with 26 organizations making positive changes in the community. Among these organizations is the Governor's Coordinating Council on Job Training, Louisiana Drug Abuse Advisory Board, Louisiana State Family Planning Advisory and the Governor's Commission for Women.

Ms. Holt served as a Facilitator and Co-Presenter to Harvard University?s School of Economics and has earned leadership certificates from Loyola University, Auburn University and the University of Alabama. She earned her Bachelor?s degree in English from Louisiana State University.
